Services Searching for History

Searching for History offers a variety of services in the field of historical research, but is primarily concerned with conducting archival research at research centres and archives in the Netherlands, for example the International Institute for Social History (IISH) in Amsterdam or the National Archives of the Netherlands in The Hague. This work entails the actual archival research, as well as an interpretation of the sources where needed, and an optional translation of these sources into English. We also conduct historical research on the basis of literary sources (academic and otherwise), and can provide you with a report, an article or a book, depending on your wishes. We are highly flexible in our work and in supporting whichever historical research you would like to be carried out. Also, you can always request a proposal, free of charge.
